Chapter 1397  killing The Light (1)

At first, Vyraak’s mind had been unprecedentedly clear, and he understood what was happening to him and the sacrifices he was going to make to ensure that this proceeded smoothly.

You could not simply reach the eighth dimension even if you were capable of it, there was great preparation that had to be undertaken, countless eons of planning and gathering of the right type of resources that would take at least fifty to a thousand Minor Eras to be completed, and that was because he was a supreme genius, for others there was no hope of reaching this stage, for it required a truly supreme mind, but all of this issues were shunted to the side as he proclaimed to the remnants of the Universe Will inside of him, to watch as he killed every single invader in his home.

Vyraak understood that even with half the Will of the Universe inside of him, he no longer had any foundations to build upon again, his home, his children, his friends, his entire world was gone, and there was nothing else for him but the endless lamentations in his heart for all that he had lost, and the ashes of the fallen.

Vyraak went crazy.

He burned his soul. He burned his spirit. He burned his body. He burned his Will. He burned his Memories, and he burned his Fate, all for power.

And power was granted.

It was very possible that if this situation had not occurred, Vyraak would have never reached this stage because there was no way he would have been able to sacrifice all of himself to touch upon the gates of destiny.

An internal clock in his body began ticking down, his death was rapidly approaching, but as a payment for giving the entirety of his being, he finally blasted open the gate that held the most supreme of power that any immortal could ever hope to attain, and he seized his Destiny.

It was said that the first ancestors of his people were dragons that roamed the higher realm, but in a great battle in the past, most of them were slaughtered, and for those that remained, a shackle was placed on their Destiny, they would no longer roam the skies as Dominators of Power, instead, they would walk the earth like every mortal creature. Vyraak, upholding his status as the greatest genius of his people, had finally broken the chains of Destiny, but the price was heart-wrenching. The Fate of his people was sealed; he would be the last.

The Dragon Vyraak roared. The sound was not one of exultation at the power he had, no, it was a sound of despair, knowing that today would be the last day of his species.

He had transcended Fate, but it was no longer possible to change the destiny of his people, and with a burst of Will more powerful than he had ever projected in his life, he froze all of existence around him, and his gaze turned to the strongest here, he would need to kill them first before more of his mind unravels, as he could literally feel madness ripping his soul to shreds, and when it was done, there would be nothing left of him.

Vyraak knew that although the strongest combatant here from both sides were at the seventh-dimensional level, they were all from Primordial Domains, and their talents and the background behind every one of them meant that if he was not efficient with his actions, his vengeance would be nothing but a pipe’s dream.

His Will went ahead of him and marked every single invader that was inside his home; it did not matter how far they ran, he would hunt them down and kill them.

Space shrank around him as he moved; he did not care to check his new draconic form; all he knew was that power was in his hands and he would use it. With his two front claws, he reached across and snatched at the destinies of everyone here inside his domain. Out of the tens of millions here, he could feel hundreds slipping out of his grasp, and he growled in anger and irritation.

Even with these immortals being at a lower dimensional point than him, their bloodlines gave them far too many options for survival, and too many had been able to slip from his grasp, but that was no problem, he would be hunting them down one by one.

He squeezed his claws together, and the remnants of the Universe turned into ash in a massive explosion as the millions of immortals, both Celestials and Chaos Bloods, were torn to pieces.

Their souls and Wills were placed in a hellscape where they were tortured for billions of years in all the despicable manner that he was able to dream about, and his dreams that were flavored by his madness were particularly vivid and cruel.

When he placed the remnants of those souls back in their broken bodies, their minds that had been broken beyond all repair sought death with such fervent fervor that they willfully killed themselves, their bodies transforming into orbs of fire as hot as suns.

Vyraak felt his heart contracting in pain as the clock for his demise counted down, and his massive draconic body struggled to hold the power of Destiny that he was not prepared to hold, but this pain was only fuel for his madness. His body surged through space and time and he was before the one responsible for ending his universe, a Chaos Born who resembled a walking volcano, Ludgyr, the Elemental Crown.

This ancient Chaos Blood was still held bound by the grip of Vyraak, but his Fate and Will were powerful enough that his domain could interact with the Destiny of Vyraak, and he tried to argue, plead, or bargain, but Vyraak did not care to listen, there were no words that could be said that would be able to assuage the rage in his heart, nothing would stop him from killing everyone here.

With the command of the seventh dimension under Ludgyr’s belt, and in addition to his Primordial Bloodline, there was no way Vyraak would be able to seize his soul as he did with most of the immortals here, but that was no problem, he would simply need to dig into this body with his teeth and claws to fish out his prize.

Vyraak’s serpentine body circled around Ludgyr before he tightened his coils. His two hind claws dug into the massive legs of his foes, tearing through his flesh and bones as easily as a hot knife through snow, and his teeth sank around Ludgyr’s neck where, with a vicious tearing motion, he decapitated the seventh-dimensional immortal. Lava that burned hotter than stars poured out from the neck stumps and the body of Ludgyr as a mournful scream rippled out through creation.

Vyraak’s long tongue snaked out and oriented Ludgyr’s head well enough inside his maws, and then he slammed his mouth shut, crushing the head of the Chaos Blood and drinking his screams, as well as his soul and Will, inside his stomach.

Ludgyr would face more hellish torture that would make those who died before seem like a child’s prank; with his claws tearing apart the remnants of the body beneath him to pieces, flinging each body part away for millions of miles, he sprang onto the next target, a Celestial.
