Davis walked towards them, and they summoned a chair for him.

He sat down, and they slid him a cup of wine, but he slid it back, making them look at him weirdly.

"You're missing out on the exquisite taste."

"True, it's not like you cannot clear out the alcohol in the blood."

Fenren and Soaren complained, but Davis shrugged. "I believe I have already explained my reasons. I refuse to get drunk on anything other than my women. Should I try assassinating you all when you are drinking before proceeding to revive you just to teach a lesson?"

"Alright, you win."

Soaren raised his hands in surrender while Fenren laughed loudly.

"Bahaha! I bet you can already do that without us having the need to be drunk."

"Very difficult unless I use the black-white stone."

Davis shook his head, causing them to laugh.

He suddenly smirked, "How was life in this sanctuary?"

"Perfect." Fenren smashed the table with his palms, "I had so much more fun than I thought I would have while being with family. Way better than having to maintain some face while being the Patriarch."

"Same here. Instead of wine, that is what I've been missing out on." Soaren grabbed something from the air and kissed it.

Davis raised his brows, glaring at them.

He envied them for their ability to be laid back and still experience an increase in their cultivation just by eating and sleeping. They had long become Empyrean Beasts and were chilling with their families while he had to indulge in cultivation and research, making him inwardly cry.

That was the life he wanted, but his friends were experiencing it.

"That can wait. We need to catch up first." Soaren chuckled before he turned to look at Davis, "Fill us on everything that happened. We still don't fully understand why that damned Heaven's Warrior is here. Is she not a danger to us?"

"…" Davis paused before he explained.

It took some time, but he made them understand that she wasn't exactly harmless but wouldn't harm them without a reason either. He didn't go as far as to say what he was experimenting with Fairy Runalise as that might break the gambled path.

He also caught up with everything that happened in their daily lives as they bragged and insulted each other occasionally.

Finally, he told them about his recent plans and asked them if they wished to join.

Fenren snorted with confidence, "Of course, count us in."

"We gotta still give those Heaven's Warriors some payback." Soaren grinned, "The last encounter really wasn't enough."

"I'd rather stay this one out as my presence should be secretive." Andiron dryly laughed.

"That's fine." Davis nodded, "You really do need to be secretive. Otherwise, if they knew what you are, countermeasures could be readied rather quickly with their knowledge base."

"Then it's only me and Soaren. Drake left for the shady realm. What about Rocksunder and Zenflame?"

Davis responded, "I heard they left sent their avatars to their clans in order to obtain the Empyrean Grade Manuals a few months ago and returned safely with Stella's help. I'm not sure how they obtained it, though, but thankfully, my first three wives are no longer bound to the Immortal Emperor Stage because of this."

He couldn't help but smile. Evelynn still needed the arachnid part, but with the Earth Dragon Manual, she was capable of charting her own path. If it weren't for the secret realm, Isabella and Shirley might've focused on reaching the Empyrean Stage first.

After all, the secret realm can only be entered by Immortal Emperors and Sovereigns.

"Then they have probably entered seclusion to enter the Empyrean Stage. They wouldn't be available, I guess." Andiron suspected.

"You two are enough."

Davis looked at Fenren and Soaren, "Just help me out here and protect my beauties, especially Yotan. She can be quite stubborn and try to shoulder it all in the frontlines."

"Leave it to us."

"We'll take care of it."

With the two of them giving their word, Davis was reassured. Although he was already confident that the force he was sending was enough, he still wanted it to be more secure and powerful.

He discussed a few more things with them before a familiar face came by.

"Azariel, what are you doing here?"

Davis raised his brows at the sudden entrance of his son.
