Zantie's eyes lit up. They only needed one person to protect the amphora. The other two could join forces and take Herbert down. "Xesht, don't let Herbert and his people escape! They managed to enter the Mist Library and come out of it by using the amphora behind me. No one knows what they got in there, but they might have the secret of the centurions."

"Zantie," Samalia spoke. "You go and help Xesht. I'll take a look at the amphora."

Zantie didn't want to be the one attacking Herbert, obviously. However, Samalia was the one to hold Herbert a moment ago, so if he insisted on staying by the amphora, that would look like he wanted Xesht and Samalia to take all the risks while he stayed safe. "Fine. Don't let these ants around approach the amphora."

Xesht looked at Herbert, who had a terrible expression. "So you got inside the Mist Library, uh? Why not make things simple for us all? Just bring out whatever you got in there, and we can reach an agreement."

Zantie arrived behind Herbert. "What now, Herbert? Do you think you can escape from both of us at the same time?"

Herbert snorted. "Hmph! So what if there are two of you? Are you truly willing to risk your lives to hold me here? I might as well tell you this. What I acquired was the second part of my clan's cultivation technique, which we didn't have since the start. It is pretty useless to the likes of you unless you destroy your cultivations and start again from zero."

"Then why not bring the entire technique out for us to take a look?" Xesht didn't seem to mind it. Since Herbert got the technique from the Library, it might actually be worth starting from zero depending on the circumstances.

"So you will insist?" Herbert asked, bringing out his spear while his Water Element gathered around. Water laws were also stirred, his affinity and laws as a Water Element user.

Xesht's Wind Element and Laws also gathered, and so did Zantie's Fire Element and Laws. That was quite a terrible combination for Herbert since Xesht and Zantie's affinities supported each other.

Those three weren't then only ones waiting for the battle to start. Herbert Clan members were also surrounded by Xesht and Zantie's groups. They were obviously at a disadvantage there.

There was silence in the room, everyone waiting to see who would make the first move.

No one noticed, though. But just when Xesht arrived, Rean had created a clone of himself using the Mirage Assault. Divine Senses didn't work in this place, and the Natural Spatial Perceptions didn't have anywhere near the big range that Divine Senses did. Thanks to that, the real Rean was now hidden, using his Light Bending Technique to move around while avoiding getting too close to anyone at the Void Tempering Realm and above.

The silence didn't last long, though. Zantie lost his patience, making the first move. His Spatial and Time Powers, Element, and Laws began to rotate around his saber, creating a fire tornado as he slashed against Herbert. Herbert wouldn't just do nothing, of course. He immediately moved out of the way, and his laws, elements, time, and spatial powers were fully activated. His spear then thrust back at Zantie, carrying an unstoppable moment.

Both Zantie and Herbert were in the Peak Stage of the Space-Time Realm, so their time powers pretty much nullified each other. That left their other sources to carry over the strength of their attacks.              

*Boom!*

Yet, his attack barely had the chance to come out before Xesht's sword collided with it. "Are you forgetting about me?"

Right after, the wing element around Xesht burst outwards, countless wind blades materializing and carrying Xesht's Spatial, Time Power, and Laws. If it was Zantie alone, Herbert wouldn't be affected by the power of time. However, with Zantie and Xesht attacking together, their time powers combined, slowing Herbert down.

*swish, swish, swish, swish...*

While Herbert still managed to dodge most of the wind blades, a few still hit his body. Their laws quickly created havoc inside Herbert's body, which forced Herbert to use even more Divine Energy to counter them. Herbert didn't have time to worry about it too much, though. Zantie took that opportunity to sneak behind Herbert, bringing his Saber Down with full force.

Herbert only had time to rotate his spear and use it to block the attack, and it was quite poorly made since he didn't have time to circulate his Divine Energy as he wished. His body was then sent flying!

*BANG!*

He hit the block walls on the side, coughing some blood in the process. Zantie and Xesht didn't let that opportunity go, following up with more attacks together.

Herbert Clan members weren't much better. One of them was already seriously injured, and the others were fighting for their lives just to not fall straight away. Nonetheless, that situation wouldn't last long. Both Herbert and the others would die or eventually run out of energy way earlier than their enemies.

Within that group struggling against the attackers, Kentucky and Rifindio also fought two Space-Bending Realm experts. Well, truth be told, Kentucky was just pretending to be struggling. With all his new perks from the system, Kentucky could even fight those in the Elemental Space Realm, let alone Space Bending. Rifindio was the only one who truly was going all out to match his opponent.

Rifindio was quite happy, though. He is only in the Void Tempering Realm Peak Stage, and yet he was fighting head-on against an opponent an entire realm above him. Even back when his Bloodline was intact, he wouldn't have been that strong.

As for Rean's clone, it goes without saying that even for a clone, it still was strong enough to hold back against Space Bending Realm experts, too.

Herbert obviously didn't know Rean's group was holding back. He simply thought they were holding with their lives on the line like everyone else from his clan.

Zantie and Xesht's attack arrived in the next moment. Herbert gritted his teeth, slamming his spear against the ground with all his power. It spent a lot of his reserves, but the blast at least allowed him to create an opening to escape Xesht and Zantie's attack. Herbert began to consider truly showing his clan's full cultivation technique at this point if that meant they could survive.

Yet, it was at that moment that he received a message in his VS device attached to his brain. It was Rean..
