Chapter 3324: Now You Have Done It
Gian jumped from the top of the building, floating down in Rean's direction while speaking. "This is not something you need to know about. All I can tell is that your Pocket Dimensional Realm definitely has my Little Ridia inside. Before I get angry, give her back. She's my sapling. Also, you better speak who told you about her presence here and the fact I'm connected to her."
Rean shrugged. "Are you sure you are talking to the right person?"
Gian landed in front of Rean, who still didn't move. "If I didn't before, I definitely do now. What? How many Void Tempering Realm out there can match your speed and reaction time? How can such a heaven-defying genius like you be in this middle-of-nowhere city? If it is not related to Ridia and her connection with me, then what could possibly be your reason to be here?"
"Tch..." Reaqn had to admit he couldn't ignore the last part. Indeed, someone who could avoid the previous attack like he did definitely shouldn't be in a place like this without a reason. But at the same time, that was all a coincidence. Kentucky was the one to feel the bloodline, even though it was faint. His group definitely had nothing to do with Gian. They didn't even know they were connected until a minute ago.
"Alright, but before that, how about we change location? We seem to have quite a big crowd of spectators," Rean commented, trying to gain some time. Fortunately for him, they had their secret method. Before arriving in the city, Roan went outside once, just so he could save his own exit somewhere else. Rean just had to go inside the Dimensional Realm while Roan came out, then leave the Dimensional Realm by Roan's side.
Gian looked around, and with more and more experts arriving, he nodded. "Fine, let's go somewhere else." In the next moment, he opened a Spatial Gate. "Enter it."
"This..." There was a problem for Rean, though. Spatial Gates could cover way more than just a simple million kilometers of distance. A million kilometers was the twins' max range for the system's abilities. If Gian brought him somewhere further away than that, then Roan wouldn't be able to come out where the location of his exit was saved. "Sorry, but I was thinking more about flying a little bit somewhere else. Who knows where this Spatial Gate will bring me? You could deliver my poor self right in the middle of a Slaughtering Formation."
Gian began to lose his patience. "The only reason you are still alive is because my Ridia is inside your Pocket Dimensional Realm. Killing you would make the realm collapse, and she would die. However, don't push your luck. You don't have the right to make any requests here. I can lock you down and torture you until you finally release her... then kill you right after."
Rean still had no intention of entering the Spatial Gate. He could have escaped with Roan's help already, but he thought the best was for him to stick around and see if he could find out how Gian located him. "I promise I won't harm her in any regard. I can explain everything once we are not in anyone's eyes anymore. Can you do just that?"
Gian narrowed his eyes but finally accepted. Without wasting time, his Divine Energy grabbed Rean, and he shot through the skies, using his Spatial Powers to disappear in the distance in a moment. Before Rean knew it, he was already tens of thousands of kilometers away from Porgue City, being left on a mountaintop.
Gian was also there, looking even more impatient. "That's as much as I will do, now speak."
Rean sighed in relief, beginning his explanation. "First, let me add that I have absolutely no idea who sir is. You mentioned something about a connection, but I'm clueless about it. The only reason we took your little Ridia was that we found her sealed by a formation right in the middle of the Tamers Guild. My friend didn't like it, so he helped her escape. That was basically everything."
Gian found it hard to believe. "Do you think I'm a fool? If you truly don't know my connection with her, then set her free. She is my sapling, so you shouldn't have any issues with it, right?" Of course, Gian knew that Rean wouldn't do such a thing. If he did, Gian could kill him straight away, regardless of whether Rean was telling the truth or not... or so he thought.
"Alright!" Rean answered with a smile.
*Zush!*
In the next moment, a little girl in humanoid form appeared right by Gian's side. Rean truly brought the Divine Parasol Tree out.
"Eh...?" Gian looked at the girl and immediately recognized her bloodline, not to mention his connection to her. He was so bewildered that it took him a second to react, using his Divine Energy to cover her and making it impossible for Rean to bring Ridia back inside his Dimensional Realm.
Then, he looked back at Rean, his eyes seemingly in conflict. "Do you truly have no idea who I am?"
"I have never seen you before," Rean confirmed. "I don't even know your name, what kind of position you hold, or what kidnapping the girl could cause."
Gian didn't completely trust Rean, so he used his Divine Energy to pin him down. "I could truly kill you now, you know?"
Rean nodded. "I know; that's why I brought the girl out straight away. I don't want to be on the bad side of a Peak Stage Space-Time Realm expert like sir. If I had used her as a hostage and released her later, I might have escaped today, but that would also put a mark on my back. Or could it be sir would let it go if I did use the girl as a hostage once?"
"Hmph!" Gian didn't deny it. "Indeed. I would move this entire continent just to find you."
Finally, Gian released his Divine Energy from Rean's body. "Alright, let's assume that you are telling the truth. What is wrong with her energy?"
"Her... Energy?" Rean was puzzled. This time, he truly had no idea what Gian was talking
about.
"Are you going to ask my own questions back to be every time? I'm talking about her cultivation's energy. It is not as it should be. Something seems to be missing," Gian said as he pointed at the girl.
"Ah!" Only then, Rean had an idea, and in the next moment, he waved his hand, causing a young man with feathery features to appear. "Kentucky, could it be..."
Kentucky scratched the back of his head. "Well... she got quite attached to me in the last few days, so... yeah... I had her turn back into her full-sized form and made my nest. We are now connected, the connection of a Divine Demon Bird and a Divine Demon Tree, just like Celis." Rean bitterly smiled, looking back at Gian. "I hope we can do something about this, sir."
*Wuaaaa!*
Yet, out of nowhere, Ridia began to cry again. She was asleep a moment ago, and now that she woke up, she was being held by someone she didn't know about. She struggled with all her
might while crying, trying to go back to Kentucky's side.
Gian's expression was terrible. "Now you have done it..."
*Creeeeeeeeee!!!*
Out of nowhere, a bird cry capable of shaking the entire region echoed, and from inside Gian's Pocket Dimensional Realm, another Divine Bird appeared.
