Chapter 2965  PluriBody

The most revolutionary advances were often the quietest.

The same could be said for Rui’s successful integration of pluripotent matter into his body over the past year. SPLAT

He inflicted a quick wound on his skin, suppressing his natural innate healing factor with his Martial Soul while instantly clotting the wound so that he could take his time with his experimentation.

VMMM…

The Primordial Core stirred powerfully as he drew some matter from it from within his body, sending it over to the wound in his body through his blood vessels, while preparing samples of the various chemical compounds that were needed to build a cell from scratch.

Ninety-nine percent of the human body was comprised of just six elements: carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and phosphorus.

There were other elements and metals that were also needed in small quantities, such as iron and magnesium. He didn’t need nearly as much of the other elements to create epithelial tissue to heal his wound.

“…it’s too cumbersome to create a cell from scratch from the atomic level,” Rui realized. “It’s more convenient to start from the molecular level.”

The chemistry of life was myriad and virtually endless. It was centered around the atom of carbon, which, due to having only four out of eight valence electrons, was extraordinarily versatile in its ability to bond with a variety of elements in the world. This led to nothing short of an ocean of chemistry centered around carbon that was so vast and deep that it had gained its own subfield within chemistry.

“I’ll have to gather samples for each of the dozens, if not hundreds, of molecular compounds that comprise a cell,” Rui heaved a soft sigh. “It will be better to keep these ready in advance.”

He slowly broke down cells into their most elementary components at the molecular level, noting the raw substances that cells needed to divide and form a new cell. As long as he could ensure that each cell received exactly the kind of matter that it needed to immediately produce a cell, he could get rid of virtually lag between wound and injury.

“Especially with the Eye of Prophecy.”

He would be able to foresee what wounds he would get ahead of time and prepare for an instantaneous regeneration with the pluripotent exotic matter ready to replace the lost matter. It would be a magical level of healing and regeneration.

It was why he thought he could replicate the Tree of Healings once he fully mastered the power of the pluripotent exotic matter. He only needed to fully get his hands on the matter ahead of time and have it converted and ready.

However, not even this was fully tapping into the potential of converting pluripotent exotic matter into organic matter.

“I could actually do more than heal and regenerate.” Rui’s unfathomable eyes sparkled with wonder for the endless potential in this substance. “I theoretically could create something new…”

New kinds of cells.

New kinds of tissue.

“New kinds of organs with different purposes and abilities,” he realized. “I have lamented the limitations of the Martial Body so many times. But with this… I can surpass the human condition.”

He thought of a template of an organ that was designed to absorb impacts that the body sustained and ensure that no other part of the body could suffer from it. He thought of an organ that could not only absorb the collision of an attack but convert that energy into chemical potential energy or elastic potential energy and store it. It was even possible to store his opponent’s energy as electrical charge in some kind of biochemical capacitor.

This concept was taken from the Convergence, the late peak master of the Britannian Empire, who died during the third Great East Panamic War at the hands of Sage Sayfeel. He had been devastatingly powerful with an organ built into his Martial Body with precisely this concept in mind. “The body was collected by the Kandrian Empire after the battle concluded,” Rui recollected. “I should ask Father for the research data on it. Hell, I should just consult with the Divine Doctor and Sage Zentra later on how to go about creating new, unique organs from scratch.”

This was a field where the two of them were clearly superior to him and could certainly offer him a lot of knowledge and insights on the matter. Of course, Rui’s own knowledge was quite decent in this regard as well, so he could already start conceptualizing how he could create new organs.

“Let’s call it… Project PluriBody.”

A project that allowed him to tap into a kind of bodily adaptive evolution that would approach the same Realm as that of Sage Zentra himself. Ordinarily, Rui wouldn’t be able to rival him in this regard since Sage Zentra’s bodily adaptive evolution came from his Martial Body being specially designed for.

But with the power of the Primordial Seed, he could achieve what was previously far beyond his reach.

Of course, this was a long-term project.

He didn’t have the time to commence on it right away, especially when he had yet to fully master the basics of pluripotent exotic matter.

His attention returned to the experiment, having almost forgotten about it for several minutes. He closed his eyes as he meticulously collected all the myriad molecular samples needed, before gathering them in a single place.

And then, he subjected the pluripotent exotic matter to the samples of organic matter collected from his cells.

WHOOSH

In the blink of an eye, the macroscopic superimposed quantum waves changed as the wave function of the plurioptent matter waves collapsed, causing it to take in the information of the form of the matter it came into contact with. Instantly, it became organic matter that was quickly distributed across the cells of the body, giving them all the fuel they needed to rapidly close the wound as if he had Weaving Blood activated. His eyes lit up with a hint of enthusiasm as he watched the wound close at rapid speed.
