She looked at her reflection in disbelief. On the delicate, fair skin of her left side, just beneath the neckline, was a clear, unmistakable hickey—almost as if it were loudly declaring ownership.
Then, deep within her mind, Xi Yue felt the imprint left behind, accompanied by the man’s cold, domineering declaration. “You can only belong to me, Xi. Wait for my return!”
Xi Yue was so enraged that she nearly fell backward, her delicate face flushed red.
