Through the visions, I learned new things, that the structures we know as dungeons, they weren’t just made for monsters to thrive, but they were devices. I saw him, the Evil God of Dungeons creating these Dungeons to absorb the world’s Miasma.

I quickly told Alice about what I saw as I sat over my bed, still a bit confused.

"You saw a vision? Now that’s a first!" she said. "So do you feel good? Nothing wrong?"

"No…" I said. "But what I saw was really heavy stuff, it was like, the origin of the dungeons themselves. They were actually devices."

"Devices?" she wondered. "Dungeons?"

"Yes! The Evil God of Dungeons, he actually used the Dungeons to "clean" the world! He absorbed the Miasma that covered the entire world of Terrarium once, cleaning it and helping the Gods terraforming plan!" I said. "I know it sounds crazy but-"

"I had my suspicions, but to hear it like this is still slightly surprising," Alice nodded. "You see, from the little knowledge I’ve gathered from other worlds, there are other instances where Dungeons have been used to clean worlds from miasma."

"Oh, so even the Reincarnation Gods had done it?" I asked.

"Yes, partially," she nodded.

"My knowledge is limited, so I have little idea…" Alice said, rubbing her chin. "What else did you see? Sylphy? Tell me more, this could reveal an incredible hidden truth about the world and the gods."

"Okay, so, they used dungeons in a very smart way," I explained. "It became a way for mortals or even gods to harvest resources, by transforming the deadly and dangerous Miasma into resources such as meat, materials, magic items, and so on, this world became a treasure throve! Although Miasma is so dangerous, they used it to produce tremendous riches instead, filling the world with a refined sort of magic.

"But this makes me wonder, was the entire world a miasma sea before?" Alice asked.

"I don’t know…" I said. "I couldn’t really see it clearly; they were so blurry. But maybe not, seeing how spirits and other creatures should be very ancient, there should have been a place where Yggdrasil and the Elemental Spirits existed that wasn’t just miasma, right? As it would harm them…"

"I see…" nodded Alice. "Did you see something else as well?"

"Hmm, not too clearly, but I saw that how the Evil God of Dungeons grew stronger over time," I said. "Behind the Gods back, without them realizing, the God of Dungeons grew incredibly powerful, from just a minor God, he became so strong the others began to fear him. The vision ended in that moment, sorry."

Alice nodded, as if making mental notes or storing that information within her own existence as a System.

"So that’s how it is…" she nodded. "You also saw some dreams before right, from Nephilim? It also showed the Gods, right?"

"I think they were the Gods, they were like humans," I explained. "And they, like… They escaped from their original world because a deadly threat was chasing them and destroying their world. Instead of facing it they ended escaping into the stars…"

"And this threat was the Hell Gates where the True Demons came from, isn’t it?" Alice asked.

"Yes… I think so," I nodded. "I remember that… And Nephilim, before she became an automaton, she was like, the daughter of… the guy I believe might be the God of Dungeons. But he looked much different. I wish Nephilim could have been there when we confronted him inside my Dungeon."

"So many damn mysteries with these Gods! They are truly strange beings," sighed Alice. "I wish they were simpler like the Reincarnation Gods, but what do I know? I don’t even know if they’re all that simple either…"

"I mean, I get you, I’m still trying to process that they probably conquered other planets before…" I said. "Sphynxiette’s tribe for example, they enslaved these people when they conquered her planet. She said they even mined all the resources inside, the stones, crystals, and ores they feed on, they took it all away until they left a husk planet that ended dying out…"

"And to make it even worse they enslaved them and extracted their blood," Alice sighed. "I-It’s really awful…" I nodded. "I know I’m still not there yet… But one day, I’ll become strong enough so I can make them pay. I’ve sworn this many times already. But this Divine Skill I copied from that bastard is just the beginning, and it might be one of my greatest trump cards as well."
