"So yeah, she got a Metallurgy Spirit and a Forge Spirit!" I said, as I talked with Celica and Celeste while having dinner. "I never thought spirits like those existed to begin with!"

"Me neither! That’s amazing, Ruby!" said Celica. "Well done!"

"Yeah, it’s pretty nice you got two right away," nodded Celeste. "Just what sorcery did your father do to bring two like that, Sylphy?"

"A-Apparently, he fought the King of the Fire Spirits, Ifrit," I said. "Which is… like, technically a god."

"Huh?!" Celeste and Celica were shocked.

"Yeah, hahaha… It wasn’t an easy fight, but I got stronger from that as well, don’t misunderstand me," my father laughed, as he grabbed a roasted potato covered with butter with a fork and took a big bite out of it. "That bastard of Ifrit really went all-out on me. Did you know? He’s capable of absorbing, transforming and using the entire Realm as his own. And the Realm of Fire Spirits, called Muspel, is just an endless landscape of volcanoes and lava and fire. So you can guess how horrendous it was to fight all that."

"H-How did the fight go, though?" asked Celica. "Did uncle win?"

"He said it was an even match… or something," I said. "But maybe he’s a sore loser. Dad’s amazingly strong, I know, but fighting a god… a spirit god at that it’s a bit of a stretch!"

"S-Sylphy! How can you say that about your dad?!" my father looked a bit heartbroken. "I’m really saying the truth when I said it was a tie between the two! I did fall unconscious, but Ifrit was left almost dead too."

"Huh, so what techniques did you use, dad?" I wondered.

"Ah, I used what I learned from our last fight," he said. "I’ve been constantly practicing and cultivating the Heavenly Flame Ember I have, it’s my Divinity Aspect after all… Since last fight when you gave me all that endless Mana, Sylphy, I’ve been refining my powers and abilities even more. That fight somehow made me advance leaps and bounds in terms of growth. My Divinity Aspect evolved and reached the next stage already too, so I’m technically and officially Tier 11! My Physique and Magic Circle now both grow in tandem with the Divinity Aspect."

"Oh, that’s amazing dad!" I said. "Maybe all that Mana I gave you accelerated the growth of your abilities permanently instead of temporary… Don’t you want me to give you more regularly? Maybe like that you could…"

"Oh no, don’t worry," dad said. "I don’t want to force you to do anything, nor I want to give you any burdens… Also I believe it only happened thanks to a series of combined factors. The mana allowed me to unleash the true potential of my powers and awaken them as I fought an impossibly strong foe, that Focalor True Demon Duke was sure a menace. I’m still angry Felicia ended taking care of it at the end… I wanted to slay it, so I’ve been constantly training and cultivating. This fight with Ifrit too… it helped me get even stronger. That’s why I just noticed my Physique and Magic Circle hit Tier 11 now."

"I see…" I nodded. "After all, what makes a physique grow is also fighting strong foes and defeating monsters… But once you grow so strong, I guess just fighting a stronger or equally powerful foe could give your physique more power."

"It’s not just the physique anymore, at this stage Magic Circle and Physique are intrinsically connected and permanently made into one," said dad. "So their powers and effects are shared between the two, unified by the divinity."

"That’s amazing!" I said. "I wish I could be Tier 10 already…"

"Hahaha, patience is a virtue, my daughter," dad finished eating the potato. "Now, it wasn’t just your mana that helped me back then, but what I did with it. So since then, I’ve been constantly aiming to recreate what I did with all that Mana, but with my limited resources. And I’ve reached new heights through that. It was as if that form, the gigantic form, was imprinted into my own soul and body, and the same with derived abilities… So what I did was combine them with my techniques to reach new heights. Suddenly, even though it’s only temporary, I was able to reach almost the same level as Ifrit, only briefly…"

Amazing! To think dad would get so far like this. But as he says, its really was just a combination of many coincidences.

It kind of makes me more pumped to do the same in the future, to combine my skills and abilities together and reach new heights…

But yeah, that’s not happening any time soon, it’ll take its sweet time.

Until then though, I’ll keep working hard and growing stronger.

After all, it’s not like I want this power for nothing either.

This world is vast, with so many different conflicts everywhere, and terrifying foes. And evil gods, and everything…

I’m really thankful I have so many amazing people at my side.

My hardworking father.

My amazing yet insane master.

My great friends, who are growing at my side, developing even further.

And also a new friend here with Ruby!

I wonder how everyone else is doing…

It didn’t start nicely here but, over time, it has become quite enjoyable.

To learn and everything.

And if I hadn’t come here, I would have never met Ruby either.

Aquarina, are you okay?

Will you be fine without me for so long?

I think I’ll be fine without you for so long but, I miss you every day.

I miss your cuddles and your kisses…

I just want to go back with you already.

Zack, Mist, Lara, Luck, Zephy, mom…

Are you doing alright too?

I miss all of you so much as well.

It’s just a matter of time anyways, and time always flies when you’re busy doing something else than waiting for it to pass.

So I’ll simply distract myself, and do everything I can here, today and tomorrow, and past tomorrow.

So time passes quickly, and I can see everyone again.
