The match continued, and it was the fourth round, still on the island map.
This was also the last island map in today's group stage. The next two rounds would both be on the desert map.
4AM, with a score that had already surpassed 100 points, firmly held the top spot. The second place was yesterday's NIP, with a score of 82.
And today's group stage had only seen three rounds so far.
As for the teams competing today, the highest scores were from STK and TL, both with just over 40 points. The lower scores ranged from a few points to over ten points.
Wei Shen once again marked the school area.
However, Jiang Siming felt a bit restless. Since they had already secured enough points to advance, there was no need to play it safe anymore. He wanted to stir things up...
"I'm thinking of messing around this round, no problem with that, right?" Jiang Siming still sought his teammates' opinions.
"No worries, do whatever you want, we've already secured our spot," Wei Shen readily agreed.
He knew Jiang Siming's style in games—if he wasn't in a gunfight, he'd feel uncomfortable.Rather than having him follow them around, looting aimlessly, it was better to let him play his own game.
Besides, Wei Shen also wanted to see just how high Jiang Siming's skill ceiling really was.
"Brother Jiang, go ahead. Even if you die while messing around, we'll hold our ranking," said Xiao Xingmu.
"Yeah, you've carried us for three rounds already, play however you like this time," Wang Duoyu chimed in.
Xiao Xingmu and Wang Duoyu clearly regarded Jiang Siming as the biggest boss in the team. They might not listen to Wei Shen, but they would definitely listen to Ming Shen.
"Okay, time to let loose," Jiang Siming grinned and then asked Wei Shen, "You mentioned earlier, where do the Korean teams like to drop?"
"Rozhok and Georgopol. Usually, RGS and AFF go there," Wei Shen replied.
"Alright, I'll go check out that area," Jiang Siming made up his mind.
Wei Shen and Xiao Xingmu suddenly felt the urge to offer their condolences to RGS and AFF. "Korean brothers, stay strong!"
As the plane reached the school, the audience and commentators only saw three 4AM parachutes jumping down.
"Huh? Where did Ming Shen go?" Cheng Hui searched the map for Jiang Siming's parachute, but couldn't find it.
"He's jumped! Ming Shen landed at Georgopol!" Qian Yi quickly spotted Jiang Siming's parachute on the map.
In the sky over Georgopol, apart from RGS's four parachutes, there was an additional red parachute representing 4AM, with the Chinese flag clearly visible.
"Did Ming Shen glitch? Why would he jump here?" Bear started to doubt.
It was no joke. With Wei Shen and the others at the school and Jiang Siming at Georgopol, the distance between them could very well mean the difference between life and death.
If Jiang Siming got knocked down, he would have no hope of being revived.
"That's unlikely. If it was a glitch, he wouldn't have landed at Georgopol. Ming Shen did it on purpose—he wants to go solo," Qian Yi seemed to understand Jiang Siming's temperament well.
"If that's really the case, then I have to say Ming Shen is a beast. Even the so-called 'tough guys' of Thailand have to step aside. But AFF has their full squad here at Georgopol, and they're not to be underestimated."
The director had already noticed Jiang Siming's "free-spirited" playstyle and locked the camera on him as soon as he landed with AFF. It was clear that some good drama was about to unfold.
"Who is this? Why is it just one parachute?" AFF's players also took notice.
"Who cares? He's here to give us free points. Let's land and grab a gun to take him out," one of them said.
But AFF's captain, Style, seemed a bit concerned. "Did the coach say anyone was going to give us free points? How come I don't know about this? Is this RGS or VSG? It's too obvious. Will the officials notice?"
To AFF, it seemed like this person was deliberately giving them free points. No one would dare land solo against a full squad—that was suicide.
Style's only worry was that the opponent might be overacting and get caught by the officials.
"Forget it, let's just kill him first and deal with the consequences later," Style decided not to dwell on it.
Their top priority was to qualify for the next stage. If they couldn't make it out of the group stage, not only would they get flamed back home, but disbandment would be inevitable.
All four players landed, only to realize that the opponent's landing speed was significantly faster than theirs.
A sense of foreboding crept up on them.
"Spread out!" Style shouted.
The four parachutes quickly dispersed.
Jiang Siming landed on a container, but unfortunately, there was no gun on the container beneath him, just a crossbow.
After landing, his [Small Range Equipment Sense] kicked in, alerting him to where the nearest guns were.
But by now, the four AFF players had already landed and were searching for guns. If Jiang Siming ran over to grab a weapon, they would definitely block his path.
Nonchalantly, Jiang Siming picked up the crossbow and dashed away, avoiding the four players' line of sight, running out of the container area.
He found a hiding spot near the rocky grassy area by the shore at Georgopol and lay low.
No one realized that Jiang Siming had already slipped away and was hiding nearby.
Everyone still thought Jiang Siming was in G Harbor, so after they grabbed guns, they didn't dare search for supplies. Instead, they immediately went out together to find him.
The four players didn't dare split up, moving in pairs as they searched the entire container area, jumping around left and right to spot him.
"Damn it, where did this point-feeding guy go?" one of them cursed.
After searching for nearly three minutes, they found nothing. Up until now, each of them only had one gun.
"If we don't start looting soon, the zone is going to close in," one teammate reminded.
Captain Style had no choice but to give up searching for Jiang and told his teammates to split up and gather supplies. He guessed that Jiang must have run away, as there was no sign of him after so long.
The four quickly started looting in G Harbor, while Jiang Siming was hiding in a stone pile behind the containers in the far northeast corner of G Harbor.
The stone pile was covered with grass, making it hard to spot him unless someone had sharp senses like Jiang's.
Obviously, they didn't. Two of them had already walked around this area several times without noticing anything.
The four finished looting G Harbor, and their equipment was decent.
Not far from where Jiang Siming was hiding, there was a vehicle—the iconic AE86 from *Initial D*. Naturally, the AFF members weren't going to let this vehicle go to waste.
After looting, one player ran over to start the car and leave.
Just as he was getting in, a silent arrow from a crossbow shot straight into his head. He rolled off the car and fell to the ground.
"Sh*t!" The AFF player was so startled that he blurted out a Chinese exclamation.
It was just like how we say "f*ck" or "damn" in frustration.
The sudden downing of their teammate shocked the remaining three AFF members.
When they saw the kill notification in the upper-right corner, their shock quickly turned into fury.
"It's that guy! The lone wolf who parachuted with us!"
Style finally realized that this wasn't some easy target sent to give them free points. Jiang Siming had deliberately come to take out their whole team.
"This guy is outrageously arrogant! Spread out and find him! I don't care if we have to turn this place upside down!"
They were furious! How could they not be?
There was already bad blood between them, and now Jiang Siming had come alone to cause trouble, clearly not taking them seriously.
This feeling of being looked down upon was a severe blow to their pride as professional players.
Today, they had to find Jiang Siming, knock him down, revive him, then knock him down again—repeating the process twenty times if that's what it took to quench their rage!
As the three approached, Jiang shot another arrow, finishing off the downed player.
After that, he immediately changed his position, still hiding in the grass and stone pile, but from a completely different angle.
The remaining three AFF players frantically searched around their fallen teammate, but they couldn't find Jiang Siming anywhere.
It was as if Jiang had vanished, and the three of them were so anxious that they started sweating.
