Tensions mounted. Plans formulated. Gazes gathered.
The central location of this growing development within the Utmost Purity Galaxy was a silver palatial structure that orbited the edge of the Armored Boon Stellar Region, and the cause of it was none other than the boundlessly mysterious Su Yi, the wielder of the ancient Sword of the Transient Realm.
Meanwhile, neutral powers such as the Incandescent Star Palace were making odd moves such as sending Stellar Transit Lights through the Void-Blank Space between galaxies, sending them off to the neighboring and nearby Galactic Zones, some of which could be considered multi-galactic. They drew much speculation about their intent. Were they preparing for a great, galaxy-devastating clash?
There was a timer of seven days, and the peak powerhouses thirsting for Su Yi's secrets eyed the Original Dawn Palace without blinking for a single moment. The only thing that held back their rising greed was the Ascendant Emperor of the Neo-Dawn Empire, an extraordinary Exalted Worldly Saint Alchemist, and a terrifyingly powerful and enigmatic foreigner from beyond.
Every move he played thus far was curious yet calculated, and despite all sorts of growing rumors about his true cultivation and source of his powers, none dared to be the first to genuinely test the foreigner's power. While this was the Utmost Purity Galaxy, supreme existences fought for their own interests. As long as this foreigner didn't threaten them or the foundation of their galaxy, why would they carelessly act?
As for Su Yi, if this foreigner had the thought of hoarding his secrets after his declaration placed upon his Imperial Law's authority, then he would learn very soon that the Utmost Purity Galaxy's secrets were things he was not allowed to touch. Especially Su Yi's!
Unbeknownst to the Utmost Purity Galaxy, this so-called foreigner had long since planned this all from the beginning, and they were merely walking down the paths he paved without fuss. Some had no choice in the matter. Others were complacent, confident in their power and means.
Wei Wuyin stood before a large oval mirror with a silver frame, observing his reflection. Looking back at him as a young man adorned by silver, black, and white robes designed with the intermixture of the flair of martial artists and alchemists, especially the two silver vambraces on his arms, the saber's scabbard at his waist, and the depiction eighteen dragons with defiant eyes enveloping a silver-colored cauldron with thick veiny roots growing beneath it, the central roots wrapped around a star as if nurturing it. The eighteen dragons treated it as if it were the most precious treasure beneath heaven and earth.
This new outfit was something designed by Wei Xiaotian, including the new symbol representing his essence, and it perfectly encapsulated his cultivation path in ways that Wei Xiaotian didn't know.
"You've already laid an immaculate foundation for your plans here. Must you push yourself this far?" The Heavenly War Spirit solemnly questioned, despite her tone exposing that she knew the answer before even asking the question. Still, she didn't know why Wei Wuyin had to squeeze every ounce of fortune from everything, leaving nothing behind. It was almost as if he lived his life with no regard for the dangers.Almost as if…tomorrow could be taken away.
No, that was incorrect—Wei Wuyin had always acted within these dangers in his calculations, planning contingency after contingency, predicting reaction after reaction, yet he was always willing to face them even if tomorrow could be taken away!
"Huuuu!" Wei Wuyin inhaled a breath of air.
From his side, at his feet, two tiny girls emerged with glistening eyes. One was more shinier than the other. Bai Xiu and the other Bai Xiu held hands as they adored the reflection in the mirror.
"You look incredibly handsome!" Bai Xiu complimented. The other Bai Xiu didn't talk much, more reticent than her technically younger sister. However, her facial expressions were considerably more expressive.
"Haaaa!" Wei Wuyin exhaled all the turbid air built within his lungs. Since he entered the Utmost Purity Galaxy, his mind had been on full-throttle, endlessly evolving as he sifted through Enlightened Sage Springfield's memories and the things he encountered upon arriving.
To think that this all started from a single goal—complete Yue Songli's two-year date. To think it had reached this level. Perhaps it may have all begun there, but his ambition was as unrestrained as Su Yi's demeanor was unfettered, so how could he settle for something less than the absolute best?
He smiled, looking at Bai Xiu's tiny form: "Thanks."
The Treasured Vale Galaxy, the Utmost Purity Galaxy, the now-named Resolute Dusk Galaxy, the Sky Heart Galaxy, the White Abyssal Galaxy, and the Onestar Galaxy could all be considered to be in a 'direct' line within the Galactic Cluster, hence why Young Master Shang had to pass all four galaxies, traveling from the Treasured Vale Galaxy to the Onestar Galaxy.
There existed other galaxies neighboring each galaxy, on the level of the White Abyssal Galaxy and Resolute Dusk Galaxy, which were considered as lesser galaxies by the society of cultivation that can traverse and observe them. The Prosperous Ruin Galaxy, for example, was a greater galaxy that neighbored the Treasured Vale Galaxy and Utmost Purity Galaxy.
In actuality, the Prosperous Ruin Galaxy, Treasured Vale Galaxy, Utmost Purity Galaxy, and the Thriving Prohibition Galaxy were part of a quad-cluster of galaxies, all of which were unexpectedly greater galaxies. They were often referred to by cultivators of lesser galaxies that sought greater paths as the Holy Void of Fortune.
After all, galactic dynasties such as the Blessed Yri Empire and the dynasty founded by the Goddess of Luck and
Fortune existed there!
In fact, there were unsubstantiated speculations that reaching a realm beyond the Mystic Ascendant Realm was utterly impossible without cultivating within the Holy Void of Fortune. Whether this was true or not, it was hard to tell for ordinary cultivators since only greater galaxies have given birth to Supreme Sages while most lesser galaxies had Mystic Overlords as leaders or rulers, not even Sages. The White Abyssal Galaxy was a prime example of this. ṚäNȪBËṢ
Within the galactic cluster, while the number of galaxies that had collapsed or been marked as part of another galaxy, there were only twenty-five active lesser galaxies. Most had oddities like the White Abyssal Galaxy, the Sky Heart Galaxy, or the Resolute Dusk Galaxy that prevented takeover or made them extremely unappealing for conquest.
Meanwhile, there existed only six greater galaxies, and besides the Holy Void of Fortune that clustered four out of six of them, the other two were at the far edges of the cluster's boundary, not remotely close, and simply far, far too distant for even Sages to travel to without significant effort and time.
Two other galaxies existed as well. They were referred to as isolated galaxies for reasons that even Enlightened Sage Springfield was unaware of. One of those galaxies was the Onestar Galaxy. The other was the Fallenheart Galaxy.
Wei Wuyin speculated based on various context clues and his intimate knowledge of the Onestar Galaxy that these galaxies were once territories used as the base for Prime Sages to attempt to ascend beyond the Mystic Dao and depressingly failed. They were, for one reason or another, off-limits and ignored. Still, they were considered active.
This was likely the reason why no one else besides Young Master Shang decided to venture to the Onestar Galaxy to find him, especially given how dangerous his existence was to their galactic fate. After all, he learned that despite his Bloodline of Sin and Heavenly Blessed status, he could still have his location generally known.
Thirty-three active galaxies in total.
Twenty-five lesser galaxies.
Six greater galaxies.
Two restricted galaxies.
Wei Wuyin's thoughts swirled just as they did from the moment he learned of this dynamic. Subconsciously, he used his Spiritual Sense to locate Yue Songli. She was a part of an internal heat-raising and nose-bleeding scene as she bathed with Qing Qiumu, Liu Suyin, Cao Cuifen, Xi Ning, Shang Wanqing, Wei Xiaotian, Luo Ning, and Imentet.
He was taken aback by this scene as he was blasted by the unforgettable sight of beautiful bodies, all enjoying themselves in various ways, playful or in deep conversation, the steamy waters coating their bodies yet yielding no obstacle to his senses. Their voluptuous, slender, and smooth figures were enticing enough to throw the soul into utter turmoil.
He deliberately lingered on all except Imentet and Luo Ning, respectfully avoiding them.
A wisp of strong lust surged within his heart, alongside several waves of appreciation. In the end, he sighed as he retracted his spiritual senses. Upon doing so, Wei Xiaotian looked up with a sly, knowing smile.
The group of beautiful women was happy and relaxed. Rarely could this scene be replicated across any galaxy, especially considering there existed three untouched Catalyst Bodies, a living Shard of Heaven, and a Sage. Not one of them was ordinary.
Additionally, this lovely sight on the eve of the seven-day declaration was a clear sign that they had complete trust in him. He had to live up to that trust. He couldn't fail them.
Not like he failed her…failed them…
"Master?" Bai Xiu noticed Wei Wuyin's dazed look. This snapped Wei Wuyin out of his stupor. Unlike before when he was younger, his heart filled with gloom and distress after recalling those memories, at this moment, his heart and soul were steady and filled with hope and excitement. Never forgetting the past was important, but always looking forward to the future was equally as important!
Almost as if warning Wei Wuyin, several auras from supreme existences flared from afar.
The seven days were almost up!
Wei Wuyin took yet another inhale and exhaled, feeling rejuvenated. There were only a few things left to do.
And one of them was to…
…establish himself within the Utmost Purity Galaxy!
He shifted into Su Yi's room. The young yet ancient Blessed looked at him solemnly. Even he could feel the intense fluctuations from those auras.
"You ready?"
Su Yi nodded.
Yue Baoyue's eyes were laced with concern.
Wei Wuyin looked at her meaningfully, "You can stay here or you can go with Fellow Daoist Su."
She was taken aback. Then, her gaze shifted to Su Yi. She was already informed that Wei Wuyin had agreed to send him away, and her initial thought wasn't whether she was going with him or when they were going to leave, but what she would do after he left. Given the choice to go with, what would have been an unexpectedly easy answer before, was now a mindful choice that was her own to make.
But she could keenly sense that if she chose to stay, her fate would likely be intertwined with Wei Wuyin, or at the very least, she may not see Su Yi again for a long, long time. After all, that dress and his timely assistance in saving her life and assisting Su Yi seemed to be tethered to her.
With Su Yi's karmic luck bottomed out, and Yue Baoyue's fortune taken away, not only was the Heavenly Daos unable to influence her, but even if it could, it wouldn't. It was simply that merciless. She had outlived her usefulness and lost the only thing important to her future development, no longer capable of assisting Su Yi.
Now, she was unfettered!
She looked at Wei Wuyin and saw a glint of lust, pride, and perfection within his starry eyes. It was mesmerizing. She calmly took her time to think.
Shockingly, Su Yi didn't directly speak out here. While he didn't feel that Yue Baoyue was Wei Wuyin's main goal, her coming along was unnecessary, and while he didn't wish to admit it, she would be a burden going forward. It was best she stayed here or went back home. But given her weakened state, his enemies or her enemies will take action against her, either to draw him out or harm her.
To be honest, even he couldn't deny that staying here was her best decision. With Wei Wuyin's protection and showcase of favoritism, he'd likely serve as a strong deterrent to all. As for keeping her chastity, he trusted that Yue Baoyue was smart enough to not fall for Wei Wuyin, likely using her cunning charm to dance at the edge to get what she wanted without giving anything in return.
She finally looked at Su Yi.
She slowly revealed a bright, cheerful smile.
"Let's go," she said.
Her choice was made.
Even without the influence, she still sought to share fortune and misfortune with the man she loved despite having a path to safety.
Wei Wuyin couldn't help but think of Lian Yu of the Myriad Yore Continent. Sometimes, the Heavenly Daos can influence you on a path, but in the end, there still exists free will to choose your fate. This was true love in many ways.
Su Yi was shocked. But he didn't raise any objections.
Instead, he slightly smiled and glanced at Wei Wuyin, expecting a scowl or frustration. Unfortunately for his expectations, Wei Wuyin only displayed a faint smile.
"I'll send you out in three minutes."
Then, Wei Wuyin's body flickered outside into the vast Dark Void. His figure was upright and steady and his aura as unfathomable as the Void.

Erdiul's Note: Lmao, average xianxia heroine. Dumb as bricks.
