"What in the world…" Jin stared at the place where he had used his dungeon portal. It was not what he had expected as he thought that he would come in front of the village but instead, he came to a forest filled with bamboo with a wide path in the centre, welcoming him to enter.
While he knew that he had not imagined nor focused on the background, it was somewhat nostalgic to see a bamboo forest that was similar to what he had back in his previous store instances. Perhaps, Jin had unknowingly thought of the past that when he created this dungeon portal, it was in the environment of his old store.
Still, he held onto his Blood Mana Sword tightly which had had improvised smith further right before entering this dungeon portal. Because of Jin’s insistence on using something similar to Bam and Boo, he had recast the Blood Mana Sword edges into a katana blade instead. If he was going to win against the monsters here, he would need to be comfortable in how he fights his opponents. Stay tuned to
Hence, a Katana blade would be more handy than a two edge sword.
But the more he walked into the forest, the clearer he heard the footsteps that were surrounding him. Even without the use of Maqi, Jin knew that he would be in trouble considering the ’figures’ that were surrounding him were of at least S rank and beyond.
"At least, I can see they are all humanoid in nature and with those bulky figures." Jin was relieved that he did not wish to incorrectly see the type of presence as well as the silhouettes of the figures that were still hiding behind all of those bamboo forests.
Then, a spear with a saber blade attached to it flew from the front of Jin and smashed onto the ground that was right beside him, as if telling Jin that if he were to come any closer, he would be killed.
That was also the signal for the humanoid figures to enter into the fray and Jin placed his hand on his Blood Mana Katana hoping not to use it if it was possible until the very end when the main boss figures came out.
But as when they made their appearance, Jin did not whether it was an opportunity or failure in the making. He wanted Orcs, he really wished for Orcs, and yet the humanoids that were standing in front were none of than Pandas that were able to stand just like how Captain Hei from the SWAT Store Security in his dungeon instances.
All of them were capable of carrying swords, bows, and some had magic lighting up their paws."State your business coming here or else the punishment for trespassing would be death by us, the Guards of Pandarians!" The person who threw the ’Dao’ Spear shouted as he stood upon a series of stairs and Jin looked up in response.
"Fuck… He looked exactly like Captain Hei…" Jin said to himself as he kneeled with one knee and greeted the Pandarian that was at the stairs.
"I am looking for a duel of honour and in return for winning, I request for a group of capable warriors to assist me in defeating Demons that plagued my country," Jin shouted back and the Pandarians started to whisper at the sound of the word Demon.
At that point, a few other Pandarians were walking towards the person at the stairs and started to whisper while Jin continued to kneel and showed respect to the Pandarians around the Bamboo Forest.
"I do not know where you come from but there is no such thing as Duel of Honour in our village’s code. Besides, a human like you cannot fathom the type of power we possess nor could you defeat us in combat. Save your strength and return where you come from." The Pandarian replied in a harsh but concerned tone.
"No! I will not move away!" Jin shouted now imbued with Maqi in it which caused the Bamboos to flutter for a moment from the echoes of his shout.
"Do not push your luck, human. Be glad that we are willing to let you go." The Pandarian said as now he started to be bursting with chi as he walked down the stairs, going closer to Jin.
"Name is Jin! Incumbent King of Ress! Past King of Bearling! Former Interim Leader of Daimon! Lord of Mount Sunn! Creator of Pandapolis!
Defender of Demopolis! Leading General of the Seven Cities! Owner of Tiangong Street! Supplier of Dungeons and Pandas! Director of Panda Inc. Up and coming Clan Head of the Royal Zodiac Panda!
I Jin am here to present all my titles here not to brag up to show that I am here to defeat all of you in a duel of honour so that my current kingdom can stand up against the demons!" Jin shouted a portion of his past achievements to intimidate the Panda person who was coming down the stairs.
"Titles, I only have one. Guard Captain Hei of Pandarian Village." The Pandarian said as he used his chi to take back the Dao Blade that was right beside Jin.
Jin smiled as if he felt that this might possible the real Hei which his past system had stolen information. Since there got to be somewhere the System was able to create such humanoid Pandas. At the same time, this might also be a lucky coincidence that Jin encountered someone similar.
However, all of this does not matter since Jin slowly pulled his katana out and bowed courteously to Captain Hei before he took his stance. The rest of the Pandarians had also decided not to interfere but secretly laughed at the human. That kid might boast all he wants about those titles which did not mean much to all of them since they were isolated in the first place.
Whether he can even lay a wound on Captain Hei would be another story for the Captain had hidden one particular nickname or title that had earned in the past.
The Hundred Demon Lord Slayer.
