After five days of a long and arduous journey, Yu Dong finally arrived in Apple City with Yu Yue and Wu Junfen. The three of them rushed to the medicinal hall, where Yu Fei was admitted.

As soon as the mer heard Yu Yue say that she also knew Xioa Chuxia, he nodded his head and said to her, “There is no need. Come with me, I will take you to where he is right now.”

Yu Yue turned to look at Yu Dong who nodded. The three of them followed the mer and Yu Yue whose heart was hanging by a string finally came down a little. She looked at the mer and asked him, “How is my brother? I heard that there is a blood clot in his head.”

“That’s true,” the mer replied affirmatively. “Not only is there a blood clot at the back of his head, there is also the matter of his legs.”

Yu Yue stumbled but Yu Dong caught her just in time before she could fall on the floor.

“Fei..Fei..” Yu Yue’s heart was filled with agony when she thought of how her brother who hated pain so much that he would even cry when a needle stabbed his finger, suffered such injuries.

How scared his brother must have been? And they were not even with him when he was suffering like this!

It was all her fault! They shouldn’t have believed the dog words of Xiao Chuxia and married Yu Fei to her.

She was a liar! She lied to them that she would keep her brother protected! Is this how you protect someone?
