Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2727 - 2727: Growing Stronger

Whisker was lost in thought during his cultivation session, easily forgetting just how long a time had passed. He did nothing except circulate the Qi inside of his own body the entire time, which worked enough to be cultivating.

He had sensed himself drawing some of the Elixir, or whatever the smell was, during the start. But it had been such a small amount that he had been forced to wait around until a lot more was gathered before his body began absorbing it.

Whisker only came out from his trance when the other beasts in the surrounding stirred and began making their way back onto the surface. He hadn’t even realized how quickly the sun had set once again.

Whisker quickly stopped and swam his way to a beast before grabbing onto it to ride his way up. Once outside, he quickly went to a secure spot in a rocky region of the desert where he stayed and began going through his body to see if he could sense any changes.

A layer of sludge still covered him, making him entirely black as a result, the smell nearly overwhelming all of his senses.

Whisker removed the sludge from his body, tossing it to the side before focusing on the matter at hand.

How strong had he become after a whole day of being underground? Had there truly been Elixir down there, or had he been wrong this whole time?

Were there any changes to him at all?

Whisker slowly went through himself.

Even though Whisker had set his expectations quite high, he was still surprised by the result.

“It’s real!” he nearly shouted. “It’s really Elixir!”

His body had become stronger, his muscles growing denser. His body size had improved as well, although he could change his size so he still remained quite small as a result.

His physical strength that had not even been close enough to make him a Saint was now somehow close to being in the Immortal realm. The changes were far too large for it not to be because of Elixir.

“So… I’m correct,” Whisker thought. “The sludge of water is full of Elixir.”

It was such a surprising find that Whisker wanted to run back to his brother right away and tell him of his finding.

But, Alex would be deep in training and he couldn’t distract him at this moment, so he chose to keep this knowledge to himself for now.

Whisker wanted to go back to the depths once again, to continue training. But just as yesterday, he would have to continue to wait until the sun rose back up.

So, he hung around the desert while waiting for the night to pass.

A few questions came to Whisker which he wanted answers to.

He wanted to know how Elixir came to be. How could there be Elixir at the depths of Hell? Was it a limited supply of Elixir, or did it constantly replenish for some reason?

Considering that, Whisker also wanted to learn if the Yin had anything to do with the formation of the Elixir. Was it just a coincidence that Yin just happened to be dragged down below, the same place that was full of Elixir?

It was quite difficult to believe that to be the case. The Yin being drawn away was far too strange for it not to have anything to do with the Elixir.

So, if he were to consider that the Elixir came to be through the Yin, what caused that transformation? What could there be down there that made this change?

‘I still have to keep my mind open for the fact that they may not be related,’ Whisker thought. Not everything that made sense was always true.

The next time the sun began to rise again in the east, Whisker jumped onto the back of a snake and hung onto its scales as he was taken back down to the depths.

Arriving at the familiar sludge of water, he quickly went over to a location without any beasts where he began to cultivate once again.

There was no Qi in the surroundings that Whisker could collect, so his cultivation by itself was a bit of a waste. Although, that was only if he didn’t use the opportunity to use his Spirit stones to collect its Qi.

Whisker carried several thousand Spirit stones in his Soul Space at this moment, so he brought out a few in order to use. Anything within a 3-meter radius of himself wouldn’t deteriorate, so he could absorb that Qi.

He placed a few Spirit stones around the water and cultivated with them.

Whisker once again cultivated for the entire day, although this time he didn’t fall into a trance like the last time. He knew what he was doing this time, so he simply cultivated while waiting until it was time to leave.

He didn’t want to leave, but soon this region would be filled with Yin, and until the day he felt confident in his own physical strength to survive the strong Yin.

‘Maybe I should carry around a few Sunhearts myself,’ Whisker thought. He couldn’t get any himself though and would need his brother’s help in that.

Alex had a plethora of those lying around at the moment, so he could ask for a few the next time he went back.

For now though, Whisker had to simply cultivate only during the days and go back up during the night.

It didn’t take long for the day to end once again. Realizing that the other beasts were leaving, Whisker swam to another beast and made his way back to the top. Once he was at a safe location, he went through the changes on the second day.

Whisker frowned almost immediately upon seeing how strong he had become. He had very well entered the Immortal realm in terms of physical strength, but he had already been close the last day.

‘The amount I absorbed was the same, but its effectiveness lowers the stronger I become,’ Whisker thought.

How many days would it take for him to not sense any more changes to his body at all?
