Chapter 6600: Your Sister
“We’re no different than our four brothers, just wanting to reach the shore.” Sixth-sense said.
“Understandable.” Li Qiye nodded: “Not putting all your eggs in one basket.”
“It’s possible that no matter how many baskets there are, all the eggs will break.” Sixth-sense said.
“But you’ve already made up your mind on continuing.” Li Qiye smiled.
“You’re not someone who gives up, so we have to try our best as well.” Sixth-sense said.
“What’s the percentage of success?” Li Qiye waited a while to drink his tea before asking.
“Back then, we thought it was at least seventy percent, perhaps eighty percent.” Sixth-sense said.
“Unfortunately, reality is a bit stark.” Li Qiye smiled.
“Indeed. At first, we thought we got a big shot to lead us. Somehow, it became us foot soldiers having to deal with another big shot, you. It dropped to forty percent.” Sixth-sense said.
“Must be higher now.” Li Qiye said.
“If we’re lucky, potentially fifty percent.” Sixth-sense smiled wryly: “But you know, we’re not the kind to rely on luck.”
“True.” Li Qiye smiled.
“This was unacceptable, so we needed help.” Sixth-sense said.
“Certainly, and you found help.” Li Qiye said.
“Well, how should I put this?” Sixth-sense said: “We thought the boss left without leaving anything but this isn’t true. Do you know about this?”
“Yes.” Li Qiye said.
“You don’t mind if we use it?” Sixth-sense asked.
“What if I really do mind?” Li Qiye found this amusing.
“I’m afraid we can’t accommodate you.” Sixth-sense sighed.
“So you’re willing to bet, that I don’t mind.” Li Qiye smiled.
“That’s why you’re you. After all, a dull outcome within your expectation would be uninteresting and meaningless.” Sixth-sense said.
“I can’t argue with that.” Li Qiye nodded.
“That’s why we guessed you wouldn’t actually mind, perhaps even want to let us try.” Sixth-sense chuckled and clapped.
“Why bother asking me when you already have it? What you want to say next is the main point.” Li Qiye said.
“Sigh, our petty schemes are laughable to you, how embarrassing.” Sixth-sense said: “Nothing can escape your eyes, Sir.”
“Just speculation, and I’m sure you have guessed this already.” Li Qiye shook his head.
“I can only say you understand us too well, unlike the juniors.” Sixth-sense said.
“Still need more assistance?” Li Qiye smiled.
“Just a bit more and we can succeed.” Sixth-sense gestured with his hands to show how little he needed.
“Do you think I’ll agree?” Li Qiye asked.
“Yes, no reason not to.” Sixth-sense said.
“Such confidence? Tell me why then.” Li Qiye chuckled.
“You want to see its power.” Sixth-sense said: “Although we have yet to reach the shore and can’t make full use of it, you will still be able to glimpse at a small part and get the big picture.”
“What if I don’t agree?” Li Qiye asked.
“It means you haven’t reached the height or power we imagined since you are showing fear. If that’s the case, we no longer need to fear you. The probability of success jumps up to seventy to eighty percent.” Sixth-sense gazed directly at him.
“Egging me on, I see.” Li Qiye said.
“No, I already know you have reached the level where you want to see it.” Sixth-sense said.
“You make it sound as if you’re doing me a favor.” Li Qiye smiled.
“I won’t deny it, we do want to taste what it’s like to reach the shore.” Sixth-sense said.
“Can you endure it?” Li Qiye asked.
“We believe there’s no problem but first, we have to transcend ourselves.” Sixth-sense took a deep breath.
“Transcend your sister!” The skull came out and cursed.
Light God was startled since this skull appeared out of nowhere. He has been confused listening to their conversation. However, one thing was for certain – a war was about to happen between Li Qiye and the ancient immortals.
“Brother Heavenly Sin, long time no see. Are you doing well?” Sixth-sense wasn’t surprised to see the skull.
Light God was shocked because this skull must be the legendary immortal who had died in battle, Heavenly Sin.
“Doing your sister, bastards.” The skull glared.
“Brother, how can you say such a thing? Everyone simply makes different choices.” Sixth-sense wasn’t angered.
“Right, different choices. I’ll go and piss on you after your so-called transcendent, let’s see if you will still sing the same tune.” The skull said.
“Brother, I’m afraid it might be a bit difficult for you to pee on us.” Sixth-sense sized up the skull with a smile.
“Damn it!” The skull was enraged but could only glare hatefully.
“Congratulations though, you have turned a disaster into a blessing, you’re one step ahead of us and have jumped out.” Sixth-sense said.
“It’s not over between us.” The skull gritted his teeth.
“You don’t have to worry about dealing with us, we aren’t sure if we can get through Sir’s trial.” Sixth-sense said with a smile.
“That’s fine, when you two die, I’ll be sure to cut your corpses to pieces to remove you from the reincarnation cycle.” The skull said.
“Well, I suppose that will cancel things out.” Sixth-sense said with an air of magnanimity.
The skull found this meaningless and vanished in the blink of an eye.
“Sir, what do you think?” Sixth-sense cupped his fist and asked Li Qiye.
“This is no different from what Xian Chengtian is doing. Just copying someone else.” Li Qiye smiled.
“How shameful, we’re old and could only copy the young ones.” Sixth-sense sighed sentimentally.
“The two of you just weren’t sure before but now, since the thing is real, you want to give it a shot.” Li Qiye said.
“That’s the truth.” Sixth-sense said: “We felt that in the past and when necessary, we could tell you the junior’s location. Now, we want to give it a shot, so please accommodate.”
“So confident.” Li Qiye said.
“Not one hundred percent, but eighty to ninety. Of course, nothing is guaranteed when it’s a fight against you. It’s just that we want to feel the other shore, and death is an acceptable price.” Sixth-sense said.
