Chapter 4269 A Lot Of Gains
"What? You're going to die, and the resources you have there shouldn't matter to you the slightest bit since you're at the Primarch Stage. You won't need it, right?"
Davis raised his brows as he asked righteously, but it couldn't be any more shameless, causing Mingzhi to turn her head away, barely managing to contain her laughter.
Venerable Knight Damien clenched his teeth, "I saw you swiping all our rings like a bandit during the battle. You still need mine?"
"Yeah, some were lost in the void like Venerable Knight Aldric's. What can I do? The chaos-destruction energy is too powerful even if they're Peak-Level Autarch Grade Rings. They were destroyed."
Davis's tone was sad. He made a sorrowful expression as he looked down.
"Maybe I should obtain the rings of all those Heaven's Warriors who escaped instead."
"You damned creature. Have it! You'll be cursed for an eternity."
Venerable Knight Damien removed his rings and threw them towards Davis.
Davis caught them and checked.
He couldn't help but smile as there were tons of resources for Empyreans and Autarchs.
Combined with the other rings he looted, it was enough to refill the Treasury to its initial state.
The Venerable Knights probably came with these in an effort to reward the Heaven's Warriors who managed to gain achievements, not to mention building many defenses on crucial locations like the Verdant Vale Sect, where the Realm Core existed. Therefore, there were plenty of resources to go by.
Davis wondered what became of Calypsea and the others.
Venerable Knight Damien repeated the hand signs again and struck his head with his palm, the resulting force causing his head to explode and divine water to engulf him and pour into a vase-like container, sealing him within.
Davis raised his brows.
This Venerable Knight did not intend to waste the essence of his avatar. This container went towards Venerable Knight Lussandra, whereupon she kept it like she was storing the ashes of a relative.
Venerable Knight Lussandra stared at him for a few seconds before she turned around and left.
In this sky battlefield, only broken space was left. The edges were barely healing because of the remnant of the chaos-destruction energy.
Davis raised his hand and scratched his head.
It would take so much time to resolve this since he wasn't that adept at controlling chaos-destruction energy after it had been released. Only destruction remained after that, so he was at a loss. He could only try to use his spatial comprehension in order to forcefully close the gap that revealed the huge void.
Otherwise, it was totally possible for calamities to pop up. But then again, it would be great to leave it like this since it would be a mark of their battle, serving as a reminder to all Heaven's Warriors or anyone who wanted to deal with him.
Mingzhi turned to look at him, her eyes rolling, "You need to stop making deals with those we need to kill since we can't live under the same sky as them."
"You think so?" Davis pursed his lips, "I don't think that way. We've established that Heaven's Warriors can be stripped from the heavens. I would like that more than killing them off just to piss off the heavens. Every warrior that betrayed it would be a stab in its encompassing heart if it had one."
"Wah, that's even more malicious." Mingzhi turned speechless.
"Malicious isn't the right word. I'm freeing eternal slaves, so call it merciful."
Davis raised his hand and spoke self-righteously, causing Mingzhi to giggle and shake her head, "But oh well- killing six of the Venerable Knights sure is an accomplishment. Venerable Knight Foredawn, who probably went to the Verdant Vale Lower Realm, should also be most likely dead since Calypsea is powerful and has huge support. Even the Ant King is ridiculously powerful than expected."
"Yeah, although the prowess isn't as high as ours, it's a menace alright with its high cultivation, enough to be named a Void Calamity since it would lead its ant race to domination throughout the realm. The progeny between the King and the Ant Queen can give them their own ideas of breaking free from me. Unfortunately, as long as there's a layer limit, they could only bow their heads."
Hearing Davis's words, Mingzhi nodded.
Normally, an Ant King's existence was the hope of an ant race. However, due to its rarity, not even one out of a hundred Ant Queens could give birth to such an existence. The amount of resources required was huge. However, Tina had fed the Ant Queen the Realm Core Essence a bit, and that became a catalyst for the Ant Queen to be able to produce an Ant King, which only left her seeking a strong male of her own or any race.
However, the Ant Queen was a King-Tier Ant Queen, and she gave birth to a King-Tier Ant King or, to be precise, a King-Tier Ant Overlord.
Moreover, this King-Tier Ant Overlord carried the genes of a Four-Eyed Azure Dragon with the darkness attribute. Born as an Empyrean Beast, he was insanely strong for a newborn, although his prowess was more or less fixed because he was still a magical beast.
"I'm more worried about my sisters. I hope they're fine after entering the secret realm."
Mingzhi's head lowered.
Davis appeared beside her and caressed her head, "Don't worry. They should be able to dominate any battlefield there as long as they stay away from highly volatile danger zones. Once the Covenant is over, if they still haven't come out, I will join them. Those who are still Immortal Emperors can all go together, and that's why I asked for immunity inside."
"The other two major Heaven's Warrior Organizations, Sacred Crusade League and Astral Springs League, would be sure to stop us."
"I don't mind. Even stopping one of them is good. Actually, they're the strongest and have the most manpower. Nearly seven thousand of those nine thousand and more Heaven's Warriors were from the Divine Sentinel Order, according to the information from the Heavenly Blight Hall."
"Then that's a great success." Mingzhi finally nodded with a smile.
She felt Davis's demands were quite low, so it was easily accepted, but now, she saw that it was right at the precipice of being declined.
"By the way, were you really capable of destroying the Covenant, or was it a bluff?"
"I don't know."
Davis shrugged with a mysterious smile.
Mingzhi raised her brows at him, trying to stare him into divulging the information, but he still kept his mouth shut. She clenched her teeth.
"Tell me. I won't tell the others. If I know you can break it, then I can plan accordingly for future events. Don't make me worry~"
She pouted and pulled on his hand, her demeanor changing one-eighty, causing Davis's heart to skip a beat.
It had been a long time since he had full-blown dual cultivation with Mingzhi. Her vile charm deeply enamored him.
"Honestly, I don't know for sure." Davis answered with a wry smile, "I wouldn't know without trying it."
"Then were you about to gamble on your life again?" Mingzhi's gaze turned cold as she narrowed her eyes.
"Haha, no. Judgment Laws is a fusion of Death Laws and Karma Laws, but who said I can't incorporate my insights from Space Laws into them?"
Davis looked smug, "Honestly, thanks to Stella, my comprehension of Space Laws increased tremendously that I feel like I could even give Zenova Artoria a chase and still catch up to her if she was an Empyrean. With my newfound abilities, I was confident in ripping space apart and pulling every single one of those Heaven's Warriors here to- you."
"…"
Mingzhi's eyes widened in shock.
Then, with her Devouring Laws, she could have made a mincemeat of everyone, fulfilling her thirst for revenge.
He had really planned it out for her, causing Mingzhi to grin and slap his arm.
"Fuck Stella more~"
"…" Davis went speechless.
It seemed like his many rendezvous with Stella couldn't be kept a secret from all-knowing Mingzhi.
