...…
Shin stared somewhat stunned at the three newcomers standing not too far from where he was. The composition of this team was somewhat odd not because of their classes, but because they were supposedly 'enemies' of one another based on what he remembered.
One of the three was a Blood Elf, who was wielding a two-meter spear in crimson color. This elf was wearing a steel armor that was filled with mystical runes. He did not have a pauldron to cover his shoulders, revealing his upper arm along with the black tattoos drawn over his red skin.
He also had a pair of bracers to protect his arm, which were also releasing a pulsing light due to the glowing runes engraved on them. The lower armor and boots that he was wearing also complemented the entire design of his bracers and upper armor, indicating that they were a set.
As for his long crimson spear, the section connecting the shaft and the tip was releasing a shadowy flame that seemed to be acting as a tassel.
The aura surrounding this person, on the other hand, seemed to be somewhat contradicting his fierce appearance. He was more like a scholar rather than a fighter due to his calm demeanor and the tranquil air surrounding him.
Regardless, any person would instantly realize that he was a powerful expert just by seeing him.
Walking slightly behind this Blood Elf was a Wolfkin with an arrogant and stubborn personality. He had a fierce face always wearing a frown that could scare anyone who would try to block his path.
If the Blood Elf had a tranquil and easy-going air around him, then this Wolfkin possessed a suppressive and heavy aura. His presence alone was more than enough to discourage anyone from picking a fight with him.
As for the equipment that he was wearing, this Wolfkin had an entire set of leather armor that seemed to possess an ancient air in it, especially when that hot air was constantly being released by the armor itself. It was as if the equipment was telling the people around him that he was always ready to fight. The huge saber on his hand and resting on his shoulder was not simple either, especially with the dark ancient filling its surface. The black glow that these runes were releasing was almost dyeing the color of the blade black, giving an illusion that it was a blade made from shadows.
This Wolfkin was glaring sharply at Shin as they walked over, seemingly telling the latter that there was some unsettled score between them.
Looking over to the other side of the Blood Elf, Shin found a hooded person who seemed to be shrouded in black mist. This person possessed a mysterious air around him that could tell the others that he was an expert player as well.
His aura was not weaker than the other two. The threat that he was giving was even more dangerous than the Wolfkin, who was constantly releasing an oppressive air to instill fear in the people.
The aura that this hooded person had was dark and eerie, clearly indicating that he was not a good person. But it was not deep enough to make him an evil person.
He also held a tall bone scepter, which indicated that his class leaned more on the side of Necromancer or Dark Magician.
…
Shin stared at these three for quite a while, seemingly trying to make sure that he had seen them right. He was not surprised about their strength, but it was their identity.
He was surprised because he knew these three ways back when he was still a 'newbie' in the game.
"What are these three doing here?" he mumbled as he observed them more clearly. "They have gotten quite strong as well."
He remembered that these three were his old rivals in a certain battle when he first entered the Divine Colosseum in the Saint Heaven Kingdom. It was at the time when he was trying to create his Battle Physique for his Tier 2 Class.

They had given him quite an impression due to their skills and unique personality.
But what confused him was the reason why they were together. After all, these three shouldn't have the best relationship based on what he had seen during that time.

Shin could not help but give the trio a complementing look after seeing their basic information through his True Skill Ocular Skill.
If it were any other player with regular identification skills, then they might not get similar results. But since his ocular skill was quite strong and high-leveled, he was able to uncover more information compared to regular players.
He could not help but have a better impression of Exheart and Bryan after seeing their respective classes and races.
He had heard that the trials for regular classes were much harder than those with special and hidden classes due to the 'restrictions' and 'limits' set for regular races.
But due to this, those players who managed to clear their Tier 3 Class Promotion Quest through this method were much stronger than regular players due to them surpassing their limits.
They would get better buffs and higher bonus stat rewards after passing those trials. They also could improve the skills recovered in their Skill Trees to complement their styles and battle techniques, creating tailor-made skills unique to themselves.
This was meant to balance the gap between players, who had access to special skills and abilities from the hidden and rare classes.
This also gave them quite an edge against those players who had used their hidden and special classes as a shortcut through their trials.
After all, the latter relied on their powerful skills to pass those tests while the other used their efforts and raw power in the process.
Of course, this did not include those players with Transcendent Races since their Class Promotion Quests were also much harder than regular players due to their access to special abilities and powers like Elemental Spirit Possession and unique energies.
At most, the players who had ascended their regular class and race were comparable with players with Hidden Ascended Classes.
In a sense, they were still considered Ascended Races and Classes, which had the potential to rival the Transcendent Races after reaching their peak power.
From what Shin understood, the 'Human Race' had the most variety of Ascended Paths due to their unique adaptability and evolution method. The 'Conquerors' and 'Neanderthals' were just a few of these Ascended Paths.
On the other hand, the other regular races such as Elves, Dwarves, Beastmen, Undeads, and Oceanic Races evolved according to their tribes and species, which were following a designated path unless they inherited an Ascended Path (Class) that could lead them to a different evolution.
Shin briefly glanced at the Plagued Monster behind him, impaled on the ground by the huge bone spears. There was even a bone cage that further restricted its movements, so it could not free itself any time soon.
After making sure that this monster would not be able to cause any immediate trouble, Shin turned his attention back to the trio and observed them closely.
Based on their movements, it seemed like they were not planning to fight with him, and instead wanted to greet an old 'friend'.
They could be considered acquaintances for Shin, especially when he had a good impression with Exheart.
Since the other two were walking slightly behind him, Shin could only think that he was the leading figure of this trio.
He slightly raised his head to reveal his signature mask, which also confirmed the suspicion of the three experts walking toward him.
"I knew it!" said Exheart as he smiled. "It is rare to meet a god such as yourself. But to think we have crossed blades when you are still in your rookie years? I can't help but feel honored."
"Tsk!" Bryan clicked his tongue and did not say anything. His current expression was quite ugly, reflecting his annoyance and denying that he had lost to Shin, but his eyes could not hide his acknowledgment of the other party.
HellBan, on the other hand, slightly nodded his head to greet Shin.
