Chapter 3622 - The Infant Soul and the Sacredfiend Skyghoul

Chapter 3622 - The Infant Soul and the Sacredfiend Skyghoul

Tianming's eyes instantly lit up. Sometimes one could search high and low, only to find what they sought with no effort at all in the end. No wonder no one in Antiquitas Mortis knew about the Oldgod Domain. It turned out to be hidden in the eye of heaven, a place no one could enter.

He caught sight of the black-and-white vortex, as well as Zi Zhen's body, which was half-submerged inside.

"Sixth! Take this!" Tianming roared and unleashed Vitasteal toward Zi Zhen once again.

Zi Zhen, who had been glaring at him with eyes filled with fiery rage, suddenly changed her expression upon meeting Tianming's third eye and let out a shrill scream.

A white, infant-shaped soul emerged from Zi Zhen’s body.

"Is that its infant soul? I wonder just how many infant souls it has and how powerful its prime soul is." This sixth Primordial Chaos Beast still hadn’t revealed its name, but it was undoubtedly like Yin Chen, capable of splitting into countless undying forms.

The infant soul's face contorted and a large white mouth appeared as it angrily screamed at Tianming, "Don’t come any closer, or... or I’ll destroy her clothes!"

"Stop! Please don’t!" Tianming's expression drastically changed, yet he still lunged forward without hesitation, preparing to use Vitasteal on the infant soul!

"You made me do this!" the infant soul roared.

Zi Zhen’s clothes were instantly destroyed. It was even more revealing than what had happened with Moran earlier.

"Regretting it now?" the infant soul sneered.

"Yes, I regret it so much!" Tianming replied.

"Keep provoking me and I’ll destroy the clothes of all your women!" Sixth gleefully taunted.

Tianming appeared incredibly frustrated, but inwardly thought, Thank you for your kindness—I won’t forget this.

The next instant, he grabbed Zi Zhen’s hand and yanked her back just as she was about to fully sink into the black-and-white vortex.

As for the infant soul, it caught sight of Tianming’s Plundering Eye and, terrified, retreated into the vortex, hurling one final threat.

"Follow me if you dare—my prime soul won’t fear your pathetic powers!" With that, it disappeared into the vortex.

Tianming had one hand pulling Moran along while the other hand was wrapped around Zi Zhen.

Hmm... the sensations were entirely different! The former was soft and delicate, while the latter was pure muscle—powerful, taut, and incredibly elastic!

Compared to Moran, Zi Zhen’s mind was even more dazed. Instinctively, she tightly clung to Tianming, pushing Moran aside.

Tianming kept his mouth shut

"Enjoying yourself?" Moran asked.

"Jealous, are you?"

Moran was speechless.

Regardless, Tianming had saved Zi Zhen.

Ji Ji condensed the power of the eye of heaven into a pink sphere, shielding them and the black-and-white vortex.

Tianming quickly wrapped Zi Zhen up. "This girl... has she been spending all her time in the Xenoabyss working out? How’s she so fit?" Tianming had encountered many women, but her physique was one of a kind. Her skin was incredibly fair, while her well-defined contours exuded a powerful allure.

In just a short span of time, thanks to Ji Ji and Sixth, Tianming had been twice treated to quite a feast for his eyes. However, he still felt a bit intimidated recalling Zi Zhen’s terrifying sacredfiend skyghoul form.

"How is she?" Moran asked with concern.

"Her body’s fine but her soul’s a bit disoriented. But Sixth left, so she should recover soon," Tianming replied after a quick examination, letting out a sigh of relief. He had rushed from Myriadpath Valley for Zi Zhen. Now that she was safe, and he had even discovered the path to the Oldgod Domain, the only regret was not capturing Sixth.

He hadn’t expected it would be so terrifying there despite only being an infant soul.

Like a hair to it? How many of those infant souls does it have? Tianming had no idea how high an untamed Primordial Chaos Beast could go.

He asked Yin Chen, "What’s happening outside?"

"Everyone recovered."

"And Uncle Yong?"

"He’s currently... in shock," Yin Chen replied.

"As long as they’re safe."

With the infant soul gone, peace should have returned to the outside world.

Tianming refocused on the black-and-white vortex. It was formed from writhing, snake-like celestial patterns intertwined like a nest of serpents. The black parts seemed to be nova source, while the white parts resembled soul power. The mix of the two produced something resembling xeno source.

The entire eye of heaven was intricately connected to the vortex. The fact that it could transport Sixth’s infant soul elsewhere indicated it was drawing power from the eye.

"Sixth's prime soul, along with Qingyu and Little Feng, should all be on the other side! Qingyu gave me these coordinates, clearly wanting me to come over. So...." Now, he just had to wait for Zi Zhen to wake up before beginning the journey.

"Right!" He suddenly remembered the stone-like object resembling an eye that he had found in the Yumo Cave. "Zi Zhen mentioned this was crucial for her."

Initially, he had worried about her sacredfiend bloodline being stolen by House Yumo, but there was no longer any concern with House Yumo gone. If Zi Zhen wanted to head to Tianmingopolis, he could escort her there.

"However, she might want to follow me instead."

Zi Zhen’s cultivation level seemed to be around a fourth-level foundationeer. He wasn’t sure if it would be safe for her in the Oldgod Domain. "She’s been alone for so long. If it’s possible, I’ll bring her along," Tianming mused as he watched Zi Zhen floating unconscious in front of him.

Calling her name yielded no response.

"Let’s try using that item from Yumo Cave...." Tianming reached into his spatial ring and retrieved the purple eye. It was stone-like and emitted a faint purple glow. It looked positively ancient and Tianming couldn’t tell what material it was made from. It felt like it would shatter with a slight squeeze, so he handled it with care.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he brought it out, Zi Zhen’s body trembled and a terrifying demonic aura erupted from her. It was the presence of an utterly ferocious specter. The ferocity didn’t stem from the forced infusion of starblood, but from the innate savagery in her bloodline.

Purple mist rose from her body, covering her eyes, ears, mouth, and nose. Simultaneously, the eye-like object dissolved into purple mist and merged into her body.

The moment the two fused, Tianming’s heart raced. He quickly stepped back, shielding Moran behind him and leaving space for Zi Zhen.

"What’s happening to her?" Moran asked, worried.

"I’m not sure," Tianming replied, shaking his head.

"Her aura... it’s terrifying. It feels far stronger than the specter bloodlines of House Yumo," Moran murmured.

"Indeed!" Sacredfiend skyghoul? Tianming suddenly felt that she might be even more frightening than the legendary sacredfiend skyghoul; it seemed like she was entirely on a different level from House Yumo. Moreover, as time passed, more of her bloodline’s potential seemed to be awakening....

She was terrifying indeed!
