Liu Le'er shuddered as the pillar of gray light fell upon her, and a pained look appeared on her face.

The gray patterns on her body flashed violently while rapidly spreading and widening, and the Heavenly Fox projection behind her was also quickly becoming brighter and brighter.

At the same time, it began to grow more tails, with the number quickly increasing from six to nine.

Once the Heavenly Fox projection had attained all nine tails, the pain on Liu Le'er's face abated slightly, and she took a deep breath before sitting down with her legs crossed, focusing wholeheartedly on receiving the bloodline power of the Nine Tailed Immortal Fox.

Han Li was very relieved and elated to see this, while Liu Qing and the other Heavenly Fox beings erupted into thunderous cheers.

Judging from the reactions of the other tribes, they were clearly also quite pleased by this outcome.

Deep down, they also harbored a great deal of distrust toward Liu Tianhao, so Liu Le'er was the preferable heir to the Nine Tailed Immortal Fox bloodline in their eyes.

As for Bai Ze, there was no change in his expression, but the subtle gleam deep in his eyes indicated that this was also a desirable outcome for him.

Liu Tianhao was standing beside Liu Le'er with a look of fury and indignation on his face, but he didn't dare to do anything with Bai Ze so close by.

With Liu Le'er commencing the process to inherit the NIne Tailed Immortal Fox bloodline, Qing Dian, Yuan Shanbai, Xiao Bai, and the young master of the Zouwu Tribe also began receiving the bloodlines of their respective True Spirit Kings.

Right at this moment, the Lightning Bird Tribe's stone pillar abruptly shuddered violently, immediately following which the primordial flame on it swelled to several times its original size.

The entire crimson space suddenly began to tremble violently, while an earth-shattering commotion rang out from outside.

The souls of everyone in the crimson space also began to tremble violently, and they stumbled back unsteadily in retreat, while the five True Spirit King projections released bursts of protective light to shelter their bloodline heirs, allowing them to remain unaffected.

Han Li's soul was also trembling in his body, and he hurriedly channeled his Spirit Refinement Technique to stabilize it while casting his gaze out of the crimson space.

At this moment, countless black clouds had appeared out of nowhere above Eight Plains Mountain, and thick bolts of lightning were flashing through the clouds, while countless black tornados emerged from the ground, resembling giant pillars that connected heaven and earth.

It was a phenomenon that was countless times more violent than what Han Li had triggered by activating the Almighty Sword Array, and the entire mountain was trembling in fear, as if it could be devoured by the dark clouds in the sky at any moment.

All of the primordial beings on Eight Plains Mountain erupted into a blind panic, hurriedly activating all of the restrictions on the mountains to protect themselves, but it seemed that their efforts were going to be completely futile.

Deep within the dark clouds, a gargantuan black shadow could be seen, slowly roaming over the heavens. The shadow was unfathomably enormous, and it seemed to be some type of monolithic beast.

The occasional glimpse of a body could be seen through the clouds, but those weren't enough to allow the primordial beings to gauge just how massive the creature was.

Inside the crimson space, Bai Ze cast his gaze outside with an elated expression.

Liu Tianhao immediately pounced on this perceived opportunity, instantly appearing beside the Nine Tailed Immortal Fox projection before reaching out to make a grab for it.

A burst of tremendous power erupted out of Liu Tianhao's head, enshrouding the Nine Tailed Immortal Fox projection in an attempt to seize it by force.

"How dare you!" Bai Ze yelled in righteous fury as he swung around to face Liu Tianhao, and everything in the entire crimson space instantly fell still.

Liu Tianhao's attempt to seize the bloodline projection was instantly thwarted, and an alarmed look appeared on his face as he tried to flee, only to discover that his body had been completely immobilized by Bai Ze's unfathomable power.

"You must have a death wish, you insolent scoundrel," Bai Ze said in a cold voice as he pointed a finger at Liu Tianhao, unleashing a thick finger projection that struck him on the chest.

A huge hole was instantly blown through Liu Tianhao's chest, almost splitting his body into two.

Blood instantly came spewing out of his mouth, but his body quickly took on an illusory, semi-transparent form.

"You think your Illusory Dreamscape will work on me?" Bai Ze harrumphed coldly as he swept a sleeve through the air, unleashing a burst of invisible power that instantly swept through the entire crimson space.

A ball of gray light erupted several thousand feet away, and Liu Tianhao re-emerged before being sent flying back through the air, throwing up another mouthful of blood in the process.

However, he had no time to attend to his own injuries, and he made a rapid string of hand seals, upon which a burst of blindingly radiant gray light erupted out of his body before manifesting countless illusions that included celestial bodies, mountains, rivers, trees, cities, palaces, lightning, fire, crowds of people, packs of fierce creatures...

It was as if an entire world had been manifested to fill the entire crimson space, creating an immersive environment that had everyone looking dazed and confused.

At the same time, the light in everyone's eyes was quickly fading away, as if the power of their souls were being devoured by this illusory world.

A cold look appeared in Bai Ze's eyes as he swept a sleeve through the air, and all of the illusions were instantly eradicated, but at this point, Liu Tianhao was already nowhere to be seen.

Everyone in the crimson space instantly snapped back to their senses, and they began gasping for air as if they had just endured immense physical exertion.

A look of lingering fear surfaced in Han Li's eyes.

Just now, he had felt as if his soul had been on the verge of being sucked out of his body.

Bai Ze paid no heed to Han Li and the others as he reached out with his right hand to make a grabbing motion in a certain direction, and the space there was instantly torn apart, forcing Liu Tianhao to stumble out into the open.

Right at this moment, a burst of tremendous power erupted out of the shattered space to sweep up Liu Tianhao, and he abruptly vanished into thin air.

So he even had an escape plan prepared... Bai Ze thought to himself with tightly furrowed brows.

Liu Zizai and the others were all exchanging bewildered glances with one another, struggling to comprehend what had just happened.

Liu Qing opened his mouth to say something, but before he had a chance to say anything, Bai Ze turned his gaze to Liu Le'er as he said, "I'll look into this matter, but right now, your priority is to inherit the bloodline, so don't get distracted."

Liu Le'er nodded in response and returned her attention to the task at hand.

Bai Ze then swept a sleeve through the air toward the top of the eight stone pillars, and the eight golden flames up there drifted down before combining as one.

After that, he released a few incantation seals, then thrust both palms toward the space behind the stone pillars.

The combined ball of golden flames flew onto the plaza behind the stone pillars at Bai Ze's behest, then exploded into countless golden flames that instantly ignited the entire space there.

Immediately thereafter, the eight stone pillars began to radiate dazzling, crimson light, and one true spirit projection after another flew out of the stone pillars before rising up into the crimson clouds above.

The crimson clouds in the sky began to churn violently, and a vast expanse of crimson light descended from the clouds above to connect with the golden flames down below.

A burst of powerful primordial fluctuations swept through the air, and three giant gates appeared within the golden flames and crimson light, all of which were thousands of feet tall.

The three gates were standing next to one another with several hundred feet of space between them, and their lower halves had been illuminated a golden color by the golden flames down below, while their top halves were enshrouded in crimson light.

Everyone was stunned by the sight of the giant gates, and even as a human, Han Li couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and veneration in the face of the gates.

This feeling was even more potent in the hearts of the primordial beings present, many of whom were even struck by the urge to kneel down and kowtow in reverence.

Han Li's gaze settled onto the gate on the left, then slowly moved to the right, roaming over the gates one after another.

The first gate was giving off an extremely antiquated aura, and there were eight reliefs etched upon it, depicting the true forms of the eight True Spirit Kings, all of which looked as if they had been hand-carved onto the gate.

The eight True Spirit King reliefs were all giving off extremely formidable true spirit auras, so much so that even Han Li was struck by a sense of asphyxiating pressure at the mere sight of them, forcing him to avert his gaze.

The second gate also had engravings etched upon it, but the designs were far more sloppy and illegible, consisting of only some rough lines that laid out a seemingly haphazard piece of scenery in the primordial world.

As Han Li's gaze fell upon the gate, he was struck by a rather peculiar sensation.

It felt to him as if the scenery on the gate had suddenly begun to move, transforming into a vast expanse of crimson light that encompassed his entire body. It was as if the scene engraved onto the gate had sprung to life and dragged him into the depicted world.

Inside this strange world, Han Li instantly felt as if he had been plunged into a fiery pit, and it was an extremely grueling sensation, but his true spirit bloodlines were pumping joyfully through his body, as if they had found a wonderful paradise.

A wave of intense heat instantly washed over his entire body, and his face and neck instantly turned bright red.

Everyone else's attention had been drawn to the giant gates, so only Bai Ze had the wherewithal to detect Han Li's condition, and a hint of bewilderment flashed through his eyes as his gaze fell upon Han Li.

However, he chose not to intervene, merely observing passively from the side, as if he wanted to see how long it would take for Han Li to free himself from this abnormal state.
