After annihilating Ress, they would then continue their search for their Lord Vishnu while eliminating every single living intelligent being in this place. None of them could honestly believe that the humans of this world could pose a threat to them.

The Rifle Mages continued to stay their ground and shoot out as many magical shots of explosive intent against the animal based armies that the Avatars had to change their tactics.

Avatar Rama who had Sugriva, the King of Vanaras and his horde of monkey warriors had decided to retreat temporarily as he shot an arrow out to protect the frontline of Vanara Monkey Warriors from dying. Unfortunately, his barrier does not last long against the bullets filled with refined anti celestial compound.

The shots went through and killed the monkey warriors who were veterans in their field of expertise.

The same goes for the sea tortoise avatar Kurma and his army of Giant Tortoise. They were known for their hardy shells, capable of boomeranging into the enemies and killing them in one go and yet when they encountered the destroyers and battleships of Ress, they were annihilated by fast machine gun fires and the bigger tortoises were obliterated by the larger cannons.

That goes the same with the Boar Horde where the tanks and anti mines placed were able to cripple the first wave of Avatar Varaha's Boars and they felt helpless despite being the prided cavalry of Vishnu with the potential to topple down human cities countless of times.

This was the first for all of the Dashavatara that they encountered trouble and they were starting to think that Vishnu might finally have fun in this kingdom, hence the last signs of him over here.

Despite the initial setback, the Celestial Avatars merely summoned even more of them. After all, what Jin and Ress had was a limited amount of ammunition, Mages that were humans, and more importantly, the Celestials believed they could overcome it eventually once they found the trick in their shots.

But as an hour passed, the Rifle Mages and the other armoured battalions were still able to hold their ground. In fact, they even have the luxury to change up their Rifle Mages, allowing the first group to rest and the substitute group to enter. At that point, the Celestial Avatars thought that this was the best time to strike since they were the second group.

However, they did not expect the resistance to be fiercer the Dashavatara are contemplating whether they should enter the fray rather than allow their army to be slaughtered without any cause. After all, their formation seemed to be more organised than the first group and the armies were desperately trying to win this attrition.

Fortunately for them, the Sea Tortoise Avatar, Kurma seemed to be the first to have the breakthrough. Among all the mechanised battalions, the ships at Lyro Sea Fortress were the least guarded since the Sea Hunters were keeping their distance within Lyro Sea Fortress.

Even the cannons of Lyro were not firing against Kurma since the fleet of destroyers and battleships were holding their 'ground' against those Sea Tortoises.

It was only when Avatar Matsya decided to send some killer fishman in the mix, the defence by the Ress-Lyro Sea Fleet had been broken. With just one crack in the defence, the Sea Tortoises were adamant in seeing it through. However, the crews in those fleets had been informed that those battleships were just a deterrence.

Their main battle would take place at the Lyro Sea Fortress.
