Sylas descended from the skies as the golden waters began to rush back. He grabbed the body of the Glassinox, his expression placid.

Sylas’ body seized and a tingling sensation rushed through him. All his pain, all his fatigue, was washed away by hands that couldn’t have been more angelic.

A beautiful cascade of gold and white light enveloped him in a soft embrace, caressing every inch of him…

And then a fire lit in his lower belly.

He felt a strong compulsion to procreate, the kind of which he had never experienced before. The evolution was strong beyond compare, reaching into the depths of his soul and pulling out all the baser instincts he usually suppressed.

However, Sylas couldn’t move even if he wanted to right now.

It was like the system was reminding him of his purpose here. It wanted those under its purview to grow, to evolve, and to proliferate their seed—and there was no one who deserved to do so more in its eyes than the strong.

Sylas closed his eyes, basking in the feeling. He could feel that something deep within him was stirring, changing. This wasn’t a normal evolution by any stretch of the imagination, it was something different.

Before this, all of his Classes had basically triggered immediately. Even when he was suffering from Elixir Poisoning, the process hadn’t taken more than a few minutes to deal with.

But this was on another level. It was like his entire body was being reconstructed, and yet it was somehow also gentle.

Impurities were forced out of himself one after another. His hair fell out, growing back stronger, thicker. Even the light in his eyes seemed to become less artificial in a way, denser and with greater breadth.

His muscles wiggled over one another, growing in size, only to be compressed and restrained. Every fiber of his being was growing to a new height, and the feeling…

Was absolutely intoxicating.

This was what a Legendary Class felt like.

And then the other shoe dropped.

Sylas knew that this was no normal breakthrough, and soon, he felt the flickering, dense flame within it to prove it.

He had lit another Progenitor Flame.

The first allowed him to reach Progenitor Mastery…

The second allowed him to slow his perception of the world around him…

And this one…

Sylas’ eyes snapped open, harsh winds billowing out with him as the center. They scythed the air, whipping against trees, nearly knocking them off balance.

A crown flickered above Sylas’ head and then solidified.

BOOM!

A rush of pressure descended upon Sylas from all sides and he coughed up a mouthful of blood before being sent flying as though a battering ram had crashed against his chest.

He landed heavily on his feet, his crown cracking and then slowly vanishing.

It was only then that the pressure around him vanished.

The coldness in the depths of Sylas’ eyes flickered as he seemed to understand something.

Looking around, he realized that it was time to return.

At the same moment, though… a shocking upheaval was taking place.
